This is an RGB prism especially designed for light projector application as reported in the layout drawing. The possibility to accept a quite high F/N of the lens is the condition to have a good energy transmission at the output of every channel. Is possible, upon request, to provide some trimming filter to define better or differently the output wavelength.

The IR cut off filter is supplied upon request and eventually mounted in front of the prism if not otherwise specified by the customer. In the attached questionnaire, the customer can define properly the specification if different to this standard product.

Outline Dimensions

The solution reported is the best compromise between the performances and dimensions, mainly about the optical path in glass because related to the back focal length of the lenses. This shape of the prism has been defined to solve special system layout problems.

Technical Notes

The angle are also optimised to minimise the shiftment effect due to the angle of incidence on the dichroic film ( 12 nm with angle ±5degrees, incidence angle is 45 degrees). Good transmission and coating repeatability are the warranty for the final product performances. More details are available for the customer upon request.
