This is an RGB prism especially designed for matrix camera application as reported in the layout drawing. The possibility to accept a quite high F/N of the lens is the condition to have a good signal at the output of the camera for every channel. Is possible, upon request, to provide some trimming filter to define better or differently the output wavelength.
The IR cut off filter is always supplied and mounted in front of the prism if not otherwise specified by the customer. In the attached questionnaire, the customer can define properly the specification if different to this standard product.
The solution reported is the best compromise between the performances and dimensions, mainly about the optical path in glass because related to the back focal length of the lenses.
The angle are also optimised to minimise the polarisation effects. The dielectric film is designed in order to minimise the shifting of the curves ( vs the angle of incidence ) providing a good results for nominal angle 10 degrees. Good transmission and coating repeatability are the warranty for the final product performances. More details are available for the customer upon request.
